It’s Friday and we can slowly start to unwind.
I sometimes do this in a very analogue style by sitting down and playing some drums. Maybe not as professional as percussionist Ralph Alexander though.
Below you can watch and listen to Alexander rocking out a wild version of Aphex Twin’s „Come to Daddy“ on drums. A tough piece I can’t even imagine accompanying with a drum set. Nonetheless, Alexander nails the intricate beats, rhythms, and solo parts, making it look easy, really fun and inspiring.
