Every now and then, I get questions about what the AI Pioneers here at Deutsche Telekom are all about. „AI Enablement at Deutsche Telekom“ has officially been around since the beginning of 2025. Tim Höttges never tires of emphasizing that, beyond the technological prerequisites, we also constantly need the right mindset to become an AI company and I find myself nodding along vigorously every single time.
Why?
Because that is exactly what we have been addressing in our sessions, levels, and modules for nearly two years now: reaching hearts and minds, turning people into genuine pioneers; first movers who are set to spark the change within their teams that we all need so urgently these days.
I’ve broken down how the AI Pioneers program works in detail in the explainer video below. Having just wrapped up our first international cycle bringing around 100 international AI Pioneers on board, from India to Hungary, I’m feeling very optimistic about what lies ahead.
