I am always a tiny bit wary of Darren Aronofsky. Not because I don’t like his style and storytelling; it’s rather because it is way too good for me to handle (Requiem for a Dream, anyone?).
So, I started watching the short with one eye closed, quickly followed by both eyes clearly opened. What a darn good piece of storytelling this is!
And, yes, it’s AI, but you can feel true craftsmanship behind each and every line.
My recommendation for today.
