SARC-FM is expanding!
We are now also streaming live on YouTube, in German and in English, around the clock.
SARC-FM is an AI radio station: the hosts, voices and music are AI-generated. The entire station runs completely autonomous and automatic – complete human hands-off approach. Until now it was available through its own website. As of this week it also broadcasts in two parallel YouTube streams:

The entire processing workstream of the new YouTube addition also followed the tried and tested autonomy concept. So, again, no human interference. Here is how it works:
– The YouTube API is hooked up with SARC-FM live programming.
– Every program daypart (morning, evening, overnight …) automatically becomes its own YouTube broadcast with a matching title.
– When a daypart ends, the video automatically gets a summary and chapter markers for each topic discussed.
– Videos are added automatically to a playlist per program block and language.
– On the English stream, the talk segments are in English. Songs keep their original lyrics.
– And of course I made sure all videos are labelled as AI-generated content on YouTube.
On the technical side, the studio computer runs two independent broadcast instances, one per language. Picture and sound come from the same playback that listeners get on the website.
