Convincing others doesn’t start with words but deeds.
This insight crystallized for me after a period of positioning Transmedia Storytelling with former colleagues. While I had engaged in numerous discussions and talks about topics like intrinsic motivation, Gamification, and ARGs, the real learning began when I decided to just jump in and create my own small prototype.
The valuable experiences gleaned from that practical attempt were later summarized in a talk I delivered last year at my current employer’s office.
