Now that Extended Reality (XR) has reached mainstream distribution, as technology raises the bar every day and prices start tumbling, virtual and augmented reality may very well get the attention of bad actors as well.
Without going all Black Mirror on the subject, disr.pt creates an entrancing vision of the future and what we may have to expect. And while most of it turns out rather grim, I love to engage with that side of the coin as well. It may very well bear some inspiring fruit for smart ways to live and communicate in the not-so-far future.
I’m curious to hear your thoughts:
- What’s your point of view on this?
- Which scenarios do you think are quite probable?
- Which ones would you rather deny?
