This is a very important development. It all seems like a perfect storm where hardware like VR and AR glasses, high performance graphics cards, and a global pandemic pushing people into their homes all come together.
XR, hybrid formats, mainstream entertainment, and digital effects are having a honeymoon, and their baby might very likely be the first predecessor of what we currently call „the metaverse„.
