AI has been a common element in military conflicts worldwide. On May 1st, Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry introduced their new spokesperson, who turns out to be an AI. The avatar had been designed to resemble Rosalie Nombre, a Ukrainian singer and media figure.
I am particularly interested in their fake protection mechanism. And, to be honest, it’s rather simple and straightforward. Every authentic video featuring the consular representative includes a QR code. This code, when scanned, directs viewers to a written version of the comments on the Ministry’s official website. If a video lacks this QR code, or if the code links to a different website, then the video should not be considered genuine.
