Just “whipping up” a Christmas app yourself using “Vibe Coding”—something that used to take us weeks or even months back in the early days of digital advertising—really is a game changer. Gemini 3 and the “Build” function in Google AI Studio make it possible.
If you run into errors, the tool can often solve most of them on its own. For trickier problems, here’s how you can troubleshoot:
- Upload screenshots with the errors or error messages.
- Pull up the browser console with F12 and copy the error messages directly into “Build.”
If you want to add extra features, you can easily do that via prompt, too.
And if the AI’s “solutions” start going around in circles, a bold request for the system to think completely “outside the box” usually gets things moving again. That’s certainly made work easier for me quite a few times. In other words: don’t bother with endless micromanagement and tiny tweaks. Just imagine wiping the slate clean and starting over from scratch.
Below you’ll see the flow, from entering your API key to the finished image. In the comments, I’ll include a link to the app. If you have a Google API key, you can use it to create your own “XMas” experience for yourself or your loved ones.
Have fun and enjoy the holiday season!
Best, Arno
