Someone on LinkedIn recently shared a prompt for generating super-realistic image faces and skin. I wanted to share it here again for anyone to pick up and experiment with. I used Nano Banana Pro for this image, adding the following prompt:
Extreme close-up portrait of a [Subject, e.g., 30-year-old Scandinavian woman], hyper-realistic photography. Focus on micro-texture: visible pores, slight skin irregularities, fine vellus hair (‚peach fuzz‘) on cheeks, and authentic subsurface scattering of light. Skin finish: Unretouched, raw, non-greasy but naturally hydrated. Lighting: Soft daylight side-lighting to accentuate texture depth. Shot on 100mm macro lens, sharp focus on iris and skin texture, depth of field. 8k resolution, raw style.
Sometimes the generated faces might have a little too much extra facial hair, but you can fine-tune this with follow-up prompts. Oh, and finally, I pushed the model all the way to 4K – if you use Nano Banana Pro in AI Studio, you’ll find the option on the right-hand side within a dropdown menu.
As always, sharing IS caring, so give this post a like, a spin, a share, care, and always be aware of what’s there where we just were.
And now… „Show me your super-realistic faces!“
EDIT – PRO TIP:
Click on the image. On the next screen, right-click (on Windows, at least) and choose „Open in new tab“. Now you should get all the 4K glory this image was supposed to be seen in.
