Looking at how this is all developing it becomes increasingly clear to me that the „Era of AI“ is built on fiber, power, and trust – and Telcos (like the one I am working for) are the silent giants now stepping into the spotlight.
Why?
Because Telcos have been evolving from the „silent backbone“ to a critical key industry: they provide reliability, energy efficiency, and security for everything that is- and will be running on AI. I used Google’s notebookLM to summarize some interesting news around this topic while showing why no AI boom will be possible without Telcos, why now is their moment to shine and how they can go about this.
