Copilot’s Voice: Inflection’s Legacy

While the Copilot voice itself isn’t Pi, it is a direct descendent of Pi’s technology stack, staff expertise, and interaction design. Microsoft essentially absorbed Inflection’s conversational DNA—the empathetic, supportive tone that defined Pi—and rebuilt it under the Copilot branding using Microsoft’s own voice synthesis and OpenAI model integrations.
