School could be so much more fun. Just imagine giving pupils the task to research philosophers and their concepts of „The Real“. Then, after presentations, the next task would be to tell them to hop on to services like Suno.AI and turn their learnings into fully-fledged „Epic Rap Battles“.
Yeah, that would be something, right?
Or better yet – let them create these AI songs and then let them perform these in class in a one-on-one rap battle played out as a role-playing performance, either live or via playback/lip-sync. It doesn’t matter. What truly matters is that AI allows teachers to quickly turn a rather dry subject into a true experience their students can engage with using more senses than just their brains.
And by the way, this is exactly what Kant and Heidegger were all about – one stood for the theoretical approach, while the other pledged for a holistic „thrown into the world“ experiential approach. Spoiler: there is no right or wrong; it’s always hybrid, always „in flux“ – maybe that’s why these are called „epic“ rap battles… 😉
