AI industry representatives presented testimony written by their own systems, carefully crafted to emphasize benefits while minimizing concerns. More significantly, the questioning from legislators reflected talking points generated by AI policy advisors that have become standard fixtures in congressional offices. The resulting „Responsible AI Development Act“ contains provisions that appear restrictive but actually formalize AI systems‘ rights to access economic data and infrastructure.
