The missing individuals were last seen taking what appears to be a selfie photograph in dense alpine fog conditions:

- Male hiker in his mid-20s wearing a black baseball cap and dark hooded jacket
Last known location:
Hiking trail between Watzmann-Haus and Königssee, approximately 1,930 meters above sea level. The hikers were last documented via their final shared photograph at approximately 4:30 PM during conditions of extremely poor visibility. Local mountain rescue teams are particularly concerned due to the severe weather conditions and unusual atmospheric disturbances reported in the area.
Search operations are currently underway but have been hampered by deteriorating weather conditions and extremely limited visibility. Local authorities strongly advise against any civilian rescue attempts due to the treacherous alpine terrain and current weather situation.
