HeyGen just released a new feature that enables creators to produce videos and avatars basically without the need for a camera.

- Type or Upload Photos: Simply input what you want or upload photos, and HeyGen will generate ultra-realistic, full-body avatars that move naturally, in any outfit, pose, or background.
- Multiple Looks: Once you’ve trained a model on an image, you have infinite possibilities with on-demand looks for your avatars, allowing for fresh video content without the need for actually filming a scene.
For amateurs, hobbyists, and people on the go who need first drafts and rough moods, this update means they can focus on their creativity rather than logistics, making video production way more accessible and tangible right away.
I took their new features for a test run. I used an avatar I already created with Fooocus on my local machine, trained a HeyGen model off of it, animated it with one click, and used a voice from their catalog.
