We often hear a cacophony of explanations for current labor challenges:
- „Skilled labor shortage!“
- „Declining birth rates!“
- „Migrants are taking our jobs!“
- „Nobody wants to work anymore!“
- „AI will take all our jobs away!“
BUT…
Women in the workforce? No, no, they’ll just get pregnant right away….
I’m almost no longer surprised by how many things aren’t quite right in the minds of some decision-makers (thankfully, and hopefully, not all!). But as my dear father always says: the bill always comes due in the end.
And so, may the author of that outrageous email, at the end of their life, when they are in need of care and alone without help (because, after all, „these people work without excuses“), reflect on what they inflicted upon their fellow human beings during their lifetime with such a mindset.
