Getting the word out about (gen)AI use cases for various purposes at times feels like an almost personal mission to me. I am convinced that the more people really learn or at least hear of the manyfold ways AI is — and will — influence our way of working or plain living, the better the quality of our societal discourse will be. We shouldn’t become clickbait headline parrots of the yellow press while getting way too comfortable not asking the most urgent question: how can I as an individual put my expertise into the mix to constructively and creatively generate a future that is closely aligned with our values as humanity?
I know it sounds almost a little like hybris and to some even way too idealistic. But I firmly believe that a new form of „enlightenment“ has to happen to get everyone on board and make everyone feel welcome in a future we thus create and accordingly all deserve.
Looking at these not really humble ambitions of mine (I agree), having the chance to speak to more than 963 people at today’s internal webconference about „Practical Use Cases with Gen AI“ was thus a dream come true for my personal mission and hopefully got one or the other listener inspired.
A huge thank you to Angela Kostova-Trpeska and team for organizing the whole event and giving me such a warm and heartfelt welcome.
