Open Source: Beyond Greed

I am all for open source, but I can’t seem to find anything that would speak against Open Source other than greed.

My favorite quote from Bart De Witte’s post perfectly encapsulates this sentiment:

„[regulating open source] is akin to regulating writing and the exchange of text among peers, resembling the concerns of monks who warned Gutenberg about the dangers of giving everyone access to books, not due to safety but losing their authority and power.“
