Which is at face value something splendid and it will definitely connect people faster and enable a one-globe (comm)unity.
BUT…
I experienced from a rather subjective point of view, that speaking in a foreign language like English, rewired my thinking process and awareness of self. Even starting to dream in a foreign language changes your brain patterns and awareness of self. Learning and speaking a foreign language almost seems to unlock a different persona of oneself.
Using tech to short cut this development will take away these experiences and confine us to the people we thought we knew.
Also, who’s left to check if everyone relies on tech?
