My impressions from Elon Musk’s presentation of the new #Texas #Tesla factory, famously dubbed „The machine that builds the machine“ during its grand opening.
My main takeaways were:

„The factory IS the product.“

„The thing we thought would make sense was to really think of it [the factory] like a chip. Like an integrated circuit.“
Observing how Tesla implemented their California learnings into this new factory is truly intriguing from an #agile #workstream perspective. It showcases a company not only willing but able to iterate, again and again, through every step of their value production. Tesla appears to treat atom-space as an ever-updating piece of software.
What was your main take-away from the Texas opening?
