Just finished 4 hours of phone support for donations regarding the catastrophic flooding that took place 11 days ago here in Germany. Witnessing such positive solidarity among my fellow citizens truly makes me believe in humanity once again.
My key learning: The quiet majority of decency is stronger than the loud minority of pessimists would like to make us think. Whether we like it or not, we either live together or die alone.
