Amazon’s Innovation: Test and Learn

It’s amazing to witness a fascinating shift in Amazon’s strategy. Concepts that were once tested as Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) in a handful of locations a couple of years ago are now being deployed in the hundreds.

Many of us, observing the swift closure of these initial test shops, mistakenly concluded that the concept had flopped entirely.

However, it’s now clear that these were simply test runs. This reveals a significant insight into how Amazon approaches innovation, whether it’s for products, services, or, as in this particular case, both.
