XR: Navigating Future Risks

Now that XR (Extended Reality) has reached mainstream distribution, and as technology raises the bar every day while prices start tumbling, virtual and augmented reality may very well get the attention of bad actors as well.

Without going all Black Mirror on the subject, disr.pt creates an entrancing vision of the future and what we may have to expect. And while most of it turns out rather grim, there’s value in engaging with that side of the coin. It may very well bear some inspiring fruit for smart ways to live and communicate in the not-so-far future.

What’s your point of view on this? Which scenarios do you think are quite probable? Which ones would you rather deny?
