As XR (Extended Reality) rapidly moves into mainstream distribution, technology continues to raise the bar, and prices tumble, we must consider an inevitable consequence: virtual and augmented reality may very well start attracting the attention of bad actors.
Without going all Black Mirror on the subject, a recent piece from disr.pt creates an entrancing vision of our future and what we may have to expect. While most of it turns out rather grim, there’s value in engaging with that side of the coin; it may very well bear some inspiring fruit for smart ways to live and communicate in the not-so-far future.
