Being able to have strong opinions held weakly is a pointer to intelligent people – says Jeff Bezos.
If I follow this rational I become weary and quite frankly alarmed by the algorithm-driven personalized silos all around us which amplify our own convictions instead of breaking them up and exposing us to new perspectives.
And if changing our minds after receiving new input really IS a sign of supreme intelligence what would it mean if we would constantly fortify our own points of view and make any divergent thought undebatable?
